| 'A' COMPANY NOTES.. |
| As with previous terms there have been many changes within the Company. The Permanent Staff have lost their Welsh Officer contingent - Mr. Edwards returned to Aberystwyth University and Mr. Homan to a job in South Wales. S.S.M. Dodd, one of the founder members of the Company, left for B.A.O.R. and C.S.M. Upright transferred from the men soldiers of H.Q. Company to the future men soldiers of 'A' Company. Sgts. Draffen, Craggs and Brooking have also arrived. |

| HOCKEY - J/C.S.M. Banham (Captain Regimental XI), J/Cpls. White and Clarke, J/Tpr. Keena. |
| CROSS COUNTRY - J/L/Cpl. Percival. |
| BOXING - J/L/Bdr. Shuker, J/L/Cpl. Sanger, J/Ptes. Stapleton, Long, Lyons and Mitchell, R., J/Sig. Mullen. |
| The Soccer team has reached the final against 'D' Company in the Inter-Company Football Cup and we look forward to a good match and to keeping the Cup, which we have held since the Company formed in 1959. Our Basketball team played a valiant losing battle against 'C' Company in the final of the Inter-Company Basketball Competition and our Cross Country members came well up in the recent Inter-Company Competition. The Company "Brains Trust" team won their way into the Final of the Inter-Company Quiz. |
| All those Junior Leaders who figured in the recent lists of promotions are to be congratulated - especially J/C.S.M. Banham on his appointment as J/C.S.M. of the Company. |
| The Company has visited Menai Camp again, where it spent an enjoyable time in, what we rarely see at Tonfanau these days, sunshine. |
